In my opinion, Korean people usually doesn't use the gesture than America people even though thease Korean people more use the guesture than past Korean people. Frequency, kinds, meaning in us of gestures are different from age, resion, nation and culture.
For example, One jesture has different meaning between Korean and America.
This jesture shape like this.
One of your arm stretck out, your palm face down and rock your hand or your hand and arm backwards and forwards.
In Korea, This meaning is "Come here."
In America, This meaning is "Don't come "or "Get away from me"
In the past, This gesture may be has same meaning both Korea and America. I think that Guestures was defined by society regulation. If two countries defined meaning of gesture we may use that gesture as same meaning now.
